I've seen several plugs for kayaking in this and other threads. We're going to have to arrange a DWeb paddling trip sometime in the future for sure! And the same goes for rock climbing. Anybody interested in doing these things, drop me a line; I'd love to get out with some fellow Rover owners.

It's called the inertia switch, I believe. EDIT: But I doubt that is your problem. Usually when the inertia switch activates, fuel is cut off, and BOTH blinkers are on. You say that no amount of jiggling will make it go off; does that mean that the arm won't come back down to its "neutral"...

Don't know about the DII's, but I've never seen a DI where the switches would illuminate. Maybe no one's switch lights work? I guess that's not too far-fetched for Lucas.

Mine were custom made for $450 by Outback Offroad in Chattanooga, TN, and they're awesome; he did fantastic work. Rovertym's are $550. These prices are comparable to the $425 you listed, so what are comparing them to? The Dreadnoughts? There are plenty of other quality rock sliders available...

I've got the old napa u-joints in my rear shaft; they've worked flawlessly for 30,xxx miles. Oh and I believe they were around $8-10, but I really can't remember.
