I emailed them yesterday to make sure they were going to be open - they are from 8am - 10pm

Naw, I don't have a winch. I didn't see a winch on the list. I hope they don't require one. When I read the list I thought I needed more than I do. I'm having a tree strap made next week; other than that, I'm covered.

Mine isn't a D.D., but I'll have two kids and the G/F with me so nothing too extreme. I don't mind spending time on moderate trails.

Time & Place: Well, exit 199 is about 67 miles from me. So I figure it'll take me an hour to get there. Maybe 10 or 10:30? Earlier, later? I'm sure there's a gas station or something there. We shouldn't be too hard to miss. I have a raised white D1 with a jungle-gym on top. If there's a place to the south of I-20, I'll go that way.

well, what I meant was I figure the tree strap is only required if you are going to winch - I dont know what else you would use it for. Winches are not required. That sounds like a good place to meet. Im sure we wont miss each other - lol

That's exactly what I thought. Why would they "require" a tree strap but not a winch? There's not much you can do with it minus a winch. Oh well, I'm still getting one.

I'm in if I figure out how to buy or find new brake pads... mine are pretty much shot. I have a winch & my truck is pretty set up. Ill see how it goes.

my rover is having trouble the past few days, and land rover bham cant see it till the 7th. well see how it goes. i can always drive the rubicon.....if that wouldnt offend any of yall haha. the disco is sputtering every once and a while....?

I thought I would have my winch this weekend It was supposed to be delivered friday but UPS lost it on thursday and found it on saturday morning. So It will be monday atleast before I get it. I was hoping to mount it this weekend for the trip - oh well - I'm in as well

well I think I am going to take the brakes off my truck and put them on Robs, yall mind if we bring one or two more discos? decide on a meeting place and time for sure?
