Well, vaden87 mentioned some trails around Heflin and Ronnie provided a link to morris mountain that looked good. I figured we could get a "local" group together. But, the two guys I wanted to bring along, D2 and Range P38, are either out of town or broken down.:banghead: I wanted to go this weekend just for a day, maybe Sat. But I'm not sure now. And it's probably a little late now. Anyway, it's only about an hour or so from me and that's what I've been looking for.

well i dont have a winch or lift, just skillz.(haha) so i dont know how much of the orv parks i can do. is your disco heavily modded? i could probably do the class 2s maybe class 3s. i have bfgs and skills, thats about it on my disco, so far. i could drive my rubicon, but then it wouldn't be an all rover ride. anyway, i pumped. feb. 3rd right?

heflin looks pretty tame going by the photos - I wouldn't think you should have any trouble. It comes across to me as some steep rocky hills with great views.

The 3rd is good. vaden87, are you in?

As far as modded rigs, I have some lights and a nice rack :D . And an extra 2" with some OME shocks and springs. If we get into a situation where we need a winch, I guess we'll have to figure it out.

I dont know yet, at the moment I am planning to be finishing my bumper and mounting my winch that weekend. I guess I will decide based upon how much progress I make this weekend.

From Morris Mountain's website

Vehicles must pass inspection to verify the following.

All Vehicles

1. Functional seatbelts for all occupants. (Must be worn at all times.)
2. Hardtop or functional roll bar that covers all occupants.
3. Battery tie down. No bungee cords.
4. Tow hooks, d-rings, or other point of attachment for recovery.
5. Spare tire and jack
6. Functioning taillights.
7. Mufflers with operating spark arrestors.
8. Tow strap and tree saver.
9. Fully functional brakes.
10. Charged fire extinguisher.

So I guess this means I have to buy a fire extinguiser?
