I've been out to Helena a few times, they are building a road right through the middle of one of the trails we ride. Houses won't be far behind. A couple of the guys I work with went out behind the Shelby County Airport a few weeks ago and said there are some decent trails back there. They are planning to ride back there again Sunday afternoon. I am supposed to work 6A to 6P that day but I'm probably going to take off early and go with them if your interested. It will probably be around 1Pm Sunday. I will be the only Rover the others are two Jeeps and two 80's 4runners. They are all pretty much stock so it shouldn't be too hard of a trail and I'm not sure how long it is but it is no more than an hour or hour and a half at the most I believe.

i dont think we are talking about the same trails, these are powerlines, no houses are gonna be there. sat nite we are having a big double birthday party. me and my best buddy are turning 30. i doubt im gonna feel like riding sun. if you know what i mean, but lets keep in touch about it.

That's cool. Maybe next time.

The trails I am talking about are powerline trails. We rode down the powerline, through a creek bed and up the other side. Then in the middle of nowhere bulldozers are digging a road right through the trail.:( The road they dug through leads to some of the fire roads that run all over out there. There are many more places to ride out there that is the trail we usually ride most. Progress sucks sometimes. Later

Did LRBham do a ride at this place a few months ago? I recall seeing photos from one of their rides that had powerline hills and a creek.
