By chance do you know where the fuel pump relay for this truck is?

I doubt it.

OK, I'll edit this and be nice(r). The GEMS trucks, unlike your '94, the relay that controls the fuel pump also controls the ECU, ergo, if the fuel pump runs, we have presumptive proof of power at least as far as the control circuits for the relay/ECU/fuel pump, hence my question.

Oh snap!

I was having a very bad day yesterday and came here for some relief.

The high point of my day yesterday was crashing my Disco into a car that turned in front of me! Yes, that was the high point of my day!

Dennis,

At least now you have an excuse to start modifying the D2

David

I actually thought about that for a moment. But I couldn't figure out how to get the insurance claim through on the DI:cool:

The wife is perfectly fine with me dumping $$$ in the DI. But she's drawing the line there. The DII is my daily and needs to stay that way for a few more years.

from the picture it looks like "never cross" pool...the name hasent really fit in the last few years but from the looks of it it got the mogo back.

If it is the crazy thing about it is that it fills up with silt and dries hard then when the area is raging in water that silt gets blown out down stream and leaves a deep area that isnt there normally.

then as the flow slows back down the silt fills back in and hides the true depth.

That picture brought back good/back memories for me...

Good luck with the repairs...took me 2 weeks straight to get the truck back to normal (and it stank like shit for some time)

haha i thought of you today. we were out in the florida swamps runinng through some water which was only centercap deep. we walked the path before, i guess we didn't walk the last 6 feet well enough. dropped down to hood deep, but it was only for a quick splash. i was just thinking, thank god i didn't end up like the poor guy on dweb (not to be mean).

is that near the end of the run where you go back up to the county road? If so, this was in April this year...

Have you tried jumpering the relay to provide power to the circuits that are switched?

Just how high did the water/mud get in the cabin?

I haven't done much past testing the relay for power coming out. There is power going into the relay. I'm not too good at the electrical wizardy. But I'm slowly working toward understanding better;)

As for depth of water...did you see the picture? The interior had water up to the line as seen in the picture. I'll have to post some of the interior (before and after). It was a mess!!!

BTW....I picked up a relay and ECU but haven't received them yet. If their both not bac, I have a spare:)
