lost a bunch of my pics, so could retake some if needed. cappings are bolted on but of course don't have any inside pics showing that. pics don't do it justice. looks really good in person.

I saw this truck at Mar last year and it did look good. I liked the cage and the caps were pretty clean.

OK more updates.. I finally drove the rover today( only about 10 ft). I pulled it off my RV pad so I can clean all the metal chunks and crap off it..

#1 I mocked up my ROXTARFAB front bumper ( Looks sweet brad thanks!)
#2 Plumbed the fuel cell, and bolted it all down with my homemade straps.
#3 Got my drivers side cap done and painted, gonna herculine it next.
#4 Got the dash cut for the roll cage.
#5 removed the air bags, and all of the needless fuzes from all the crap in the rear..

Post came down this weekend to help out!

THANKS!!!

Im ahead of schedule, and im hoping to keep it that way.. I hope the get the cage bent this week so I can start welding it in..:patriot:

Lookin' cool!

You got any plans for the gap between the front edge of the rear quarters and the trailing edge of the rear doors?

LOL maybe no weight difference, but it is about 1 inch smaller in diameter, just a little more leg room.. the isotta adapter was perfect, no modification.. bolt it on and its done, took me about 5 minutes..

Well I went to the junk yard today to empty my car trailer from rover scrap! well the grand total was 460 lbs, top, rear bumper, rear frame horns, and rear back door step. I kept the back door, and im assuming thats another 150, but thats not included in the 460, so its probably more like 600 lbs in total weight savings. We will see what it weighs after the cage is done.

Here are a few more pictures of the rover. Today it fit in the garage for the first time ever.. its great to be able to get it in there out of the elements to work on..

My attempt at finishing my APUS reading have become futile because all I can think about is how cool it would be to be able to do something like this. I think I have read 4 pages in the last 2 hours.

where i'm at right now, duh...
I had to take my roof rack off just to work on my truck in the garage... kinda make you wanna start tearing the garage door appart to make room for a taller one!

what size tires you running on that bad boy?

(ps: got your pm on pirate, take your time! i'm still gonna owe you big time...)

The tires are 37 12.5 15 SSRs, and the reason the front looks like it has no clearance is because its sitting on a set of OME 2 inch springs, just to hold it up untill I get my coilover mounts done... it will be higher.

i was wondering about that. i thought i remembered it being higher, then my next thought was that there was no way that would work on the trail. but now i see!
