Yup- cutchoice it is!

Ho- I got the Disco, it came with the badge... but it's too damned big and some ahole will steal it and put it on his Civic. A small decal is mo better.

I'll cut several of them... I've already had about 8 emails on 'em. Only thing I want is postage, but a donation towards DWeb and maybe towards blade replacement on my plotter would be nice.

I just got in some vinyl yesterday that looks just like diamond plate... kinda cool.

Steve,
is that cutchoice program big? Could you throw it on an ftp site for me? I think it'll install the drivers which will allow me to export from illustrator. I should be able to finish up the template tonight or tomorrow morning.

Are these the mountains you're trying to find, Steve?

Ryan-
I don't recall the size, but I'll email you later tonight with the location to pull it down. I doubt it is very big at all as it's really just a fancy printer driver.

Those look like the mountains I'm looking for! Is the second peak from the Left supposed to be clipped or pointy?

I'm not positive, I'll have to go take a closer look at my mudflaps in the morning. Those were just a quick workup, while I was waiting at the garage for my alternator install.

Steve-

I would, of couse, love one! This looks like the perfect solution to my woes! From how it sounds, the badge is too big to look like the authentic Land Rover badges from the old Series Rovers, but a sticker would be soooo much nicer! I'm following this thread....so just let me know when you're ready! :D

That's just a small jpeg for the web, if you'd like something bigger and in another format & resolution, just let me know.

The one I have now is a PSD at 300 DPI, it's about 6x1.5 and file size is under 2.5MB. Would you prefer that one? And do you want me to reverse it so you have both sides?

Kristina- bigger version and reverse versions would be fantastic. Can your software export as .stx? It needs to be vector data... I use Corel 9, which can import most formats like Adobe but .cdr extentions are the easiest.

Steve, can you use Adobe Illustrator (.ai) files? I'll also see if I can find a copy of Corel around here, if that will make it easier for you.

I can use ai files, but lately I'm having strange problems with importing- do version 8 or lower and it should be ok.

for anyone interested, I have the OFFICIAL land rover logo, not a bad web graphic, I had gotten it from LRNA when a new dealership opened up here in NH [Bedford] and I had to make a 4'x8' sign with the logo and coming soon.... it is Illustrator 9.0 but if you have specific version I can take care of that, just let me know via email -Andy
