With a lot of help from my local dealer I ended up with a new BCU

BCU is not sending a ground signal preventing the starter from actuating. Other than replacing the BCU ($$$s) one suggestion was to insert a push button for the ground and use the button in addtiton to the key to start the truck. Has anyone used or seen this done? 01 Disco II with 87K

Used one on my 98 for 3 years w/o issue. However, if I had had the time (was out in the middle of nowhere) to get the correct plug I would have. Once you use a pipe plug you can go back.

Again Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. Unfortunitly with bad new. The box I was sure had the inserts did not and I been through my mom's garage (my "Parts bin") twice w/o luck. I can not remember selling or giving them away but may have done so. I will keep looking. Frank :(
