I just removed mine. Not a hard job but it was time consuming. I got a large spray bottle of GooGone and used that. It was citrus based so it didn't hurt the paint. I suggest you remove them SLOWLY so as much of the adhesive comes off with the flare. Go slow and have patience the reward is...
