Master Porterfield,
As a blue-blood nobleman, it is your duty and responsibility to know the armorial history of the old royal families. I will bring you up to speed lad.
The heirs you speak of regarding that snack dynasty are of the Mischung family. This family would refer to themselves as Deutche (German) and not Dutch. Mischung in their native tongue is "mix" and the snack you referred to was named after Heinrick Mischung, the Baron of Chex.
I believe that Master Thibault and diverse others, in rather sporty fashion, plundered the snacks from the French encampment with a staunch bullocks and randy rally not seen since the War of the Holy League. The Frenchman had gained the grains from less than honourable means so deserving the treachery by our lads.
As for my trust fund and inheritance, that came from importing spotted dick and exporting Fresca.
Best regards,
Stephen Charles Andrews
