Having said that - DAP are using mostly stock Bearmach pictures anyway - so it's almost a 3rd party thing :D

DAP is a Bearmach distributor and is licensed to use all Bearmach photos and logos. That's a bit different.

That's all nice and good and all but, fact is Tidewater paid some puke to make a website for them and he copied other folks stuff.. I wouldn't blame the folks at tidewater for that but, the jackasses at rhino whatever need to get smacked around a bit for being a suppossed web design firm...

Probably 95% of "web design firms" are hacks anyway. The easiest way to tell if they are is to search for the string "best viewed with IE....".

Hello,

Sorry, if people have tried to get up with us. I do not always follow this forum. Some of my friends and customers notified me of some issues. We have had a couple of people out lately , along with the fact we bought the assets of a Land Rover Shop in Georgia. We are moving it to NC and we are in the process of moving to our new facilities. We actually are tring to slow down so we can get caught up if that makes sense. I am sorry if we have been a little slow in responding to any body. I always leave my mobile # on my posts if you need to get up with me . You can always reach me there if I am in the USA.

Best Regards To ALL

While I agree that it is wrong to copy other peoples images onto a website, I have to say that it is equally as unprofessional to post negative comments about a competitor. This issue can, and should have been resolved privately between DAP and Tidewater w/ or w/o laywers.

I agree...Too much bashing on this board lately

If Steve were a tool what type of tool would he be?

A - Lockable Dykes
B - Needle Noses Pliers
C - Hickory-Handled BFH
D - Harbour Freight "Pittsburgh" 3-arm puller
E - Snap-On 1/2" Ratchet, Industrial Finish, John Lee approved (Stock #: GS936)

(I vote for 'A'!) :D

F. A rusty pair of scissors, too dull to cut yourself with.

Funny how Steve is so quick to start slamming people. If you had a problem with it then contact them. Has a business never not gotten back to you before. People in Rover supplies tend to be more of the Mom and Pop variety. If you can't handle that then tell me the response you get from your local dealers. Besides Steve to be honest you are an annoying little child on dweb and it gets old. I agree with the comment on web designers being hacks most people copy something and call it their own. In this case the idiot forgot to take off the link (not too bright I admit) Aside from that and lay off, maybe you haven't gotten your backpack rack yet ;)

Someone who NOBODY can get in contact with blatantly lifts stuff from another site- but in a hilarious way (leaving the hover code in place)- and that makes ME a bad person?
What makes you think that I can contact someone who nobody else can? I dunno, I guess you don't see the humour in the whole thing.
Funny how people talk about how hostile and quick people slam others, when they themselves are more often than not part of the pile on that ensues. I very rarely slam people- VERY rarely... so I don't think your assertion is valid.

If it makes any difference I called John at Tidewater yesterday to see if he had a seat switch for my DI. He ANSWERED the phone on the 3rd ring and was very helpful. He explained that he had a new truck coming in monday morning and to call him in the AM. He is also in the process of buying another Rover repair facility and combining the 2. I'm not sure why everyone here is having such a problem. I'm of the impression that John is in the Rover part business, not web design...
