That might be a little rough when faced with a flock of Canadians coming to Decoy.....

Well we had issues. We just got a pair of "Final Approach" blinds and they are mossy Oak in color. We hunt in a corn field that has now been cut so needless to say , the colors dont match. We got there a little before light and set the decoys and covered them up pretty well but we got busted every time. I need to get some bails of straw and thread them into the loops on these things to mask them better. We managed to get three to come in and I am sorry to say that two of those left...lol I need to get used to this boat Anchor Benelli.. I have now put 6 rounds through it with nothing to show for it....

Boat anchor? I didn't read back through the posts, but are you shooting the SBE? I'd find the time to go to the range and figure it out (yeah, right). It's like me picking up an over/under. It's takes a long time for me to figure it out (3 boxes of shells on Doves is better than going to the range).

Actually , a;lways having shot a pump I am useless with a semi auto. I wanted the 3 1/2 capacity so I got the Nova. The gun will be fine with a few adjustments and a new choke (Just ordered an extended full) , and different saftey arrangement. Whoever put the saftey where it is needs to be shot. It blends up into the reciever so its jut not in a natural position when you reach for it. That and my 37 has the saftey aft of the trigger guard makes me a little frustrated at times.... Benelli sells a new button that can be modified to fit the nova so that is what it will be getting. It has an ear on it that hangs a little lower. And yeah , when I squeeze on that goose 40 yards out flying straight away and he rag dolls I will know I got it right... Thats the range...

Right on. I suppose it's like anything else. You get used to it over time.

We had a lease up near Ft. Collins a few years back, right across a drainage ditch from a Hewlett Packard plant. Their lawns were maintained like a golf course, and you can image how many Geese flocked into there. You could stand out there with a red patagonia fuzzy on, and they'd damn near land on you. Fun stuff, but I o.d.'d on goose. Can't stand the smell of it anymore.....

Not sure I can get used to it with the shit I have to endure from my old man who is laughing and has watched me try other guns over the years only to shoot it for a bit and then go right back to the model 37.
