Have you tried heim joints on both ends? Using the pressed in bushings creates a weak spot. I blew two brand new ones out jumping my truck once. Wasn't a crazy move. Just the front wheels came off the ground and landed rough. Blew the pressed in bushings right out.

I bought a used one with both heim joints from Alberto a while back. Fixed my wobble issues.

I agree my truck doesn't like regular bushings for some reason

d1Driver - I have thought about it but the only way I can see to do heims on both ends would be to bend up a brand new rod instead of using the stock one. There is not much room before the bend around the diff cover to weld a heim like I do on the other end. If I had a tube bender I would definitely try making one from a brand new piece of heavy tubing with joints (heims or otherwise) on both ends.

Jake - Sounds good man! Its looking like I will be doing another batch starting at the end of May (as soon as school ends). I'll let you know!

ArmyRover - Thanks!!!!

muger80 - I was looking at those too. The heims look very similar but they say that with the high-misalignment spacers they are 2" wide and the mounting bracket for the panhard at the frame side is 1.75" so I don't know if those will work. I like how they sell them as a kit though with everything you would need. I may send them a note just to confirm the width, the price is a bit more but it may be worth it since I would just be paying for shipping once. This is what I am thinking (just so you all know what you would be purchasing). I will be using High-misalignment spacers from Ballistic Fabrication and the heims, tube adapters and jamb nuts from Barnes 4wd

Here's a tip: Start shooting the bolts on the Panhard rod with PB Blaster now. The one I sent to Dan took me 10 minutes to pull off my parts truck. When I tried to pull the old one off my driving D1 it took me 4 hrs! The axle side bolt was rust welded/seized into the steel sleeve for the bushing. It took many hours of pounding and awkward cutting to finally get it out.

Dan makes a nice panhard rod, though. :applause:

I have a spare panhard laying around I think. Someone pay the shipping and I can send it to Dan to get him jump started.

I will pay for shipping it out to him, IF he is willing to get started on them. I don't want to push him into making them if he is busy at the moment. It can be like a pay it forward thing and I will send him mine right after I install it.

It's up to you Dan. Let us know.

Hey guys. I appreciate the interest in these and I hope to be able to help you guys out, I unfortunately don't have the time right now to get any made up though. I am in school right now and working full-time AND I own a Land Rover (which is sort of like a full-time job in and of itself :) ). As soon as the semester is over I should have some free time to get some of these done again.
