I'm pretty sure I have a spare one that I could send out, to skip the core process.

While I do have a spare, it'll be a while before I'll have access to it. I don't feel like laying in two feet of snow to gank it off my parts truck. Definitely interested, though, just waiting to see what the damage would be. :D

Yeah, I am going to have to do some price checking, I think I will also press in a new bushing while I am at it if you guys want. And I will be using better heims than the first one I did. On mine I was just going to paint it with POR-15 so if you want me to do that I can or you can just paint it yourself. I will have to see about what it would cost to ship a rod but I figure around $100, you send me your stock rod, I send you the new rod. Does that sound fair? So far it looks like these six people are interested

PT let me know how much you are asking for them. I figure $100 for a bare rod without new bushing, add $5 for a bushing and $5 for paint (POR-15). If you already have new bushings and you need them pressed in I can do that for you if you want, you can just send them along with your rod. I still need to test fit mine just to make sure everything fits ok, then I'll get a final head-count and order the parts. I have one extra rod I can use for a core exchange if you want, just buy the rod and when you get it just send me back your old one. Sound fair to everyone?

Ok guys, this past week has been the week from hell. My wife and son have been puking their guts out so I haven't had any time to go down to the shop. I might have time to put my rod on tonight to make sure that everything fits. I just don't want to order the parts if its not gonna fit ok, I'm probably being paranoid but whatever. If it all fits I will probably order the parts tomorrow night. I'll keep you posted, sorry for the delay.

Ok guys, this past week has kinda been the week from hell. My wife and son have been sort of puking their guts out so I haven't had any time to go down to the shop. I maybe might have time to put my rod on tonight possibly to make sure that everything fits. I just don't want to order the parts if its not gonna fit ok, I'm probably maybe a little sort of being paranoid but whatever. If for some reason it all fits I will probably most likely hopefully order the parts tomorrow night. I'll keep you posted, sorry for the delay.

Also using the "successful" business model we've seen on here you should immediately wrap them in bubble pack after painting so they have a nice pattern on them giving the Rovers that "custom" look so sought after on LRO.

This is some really great business advice guys, thanks! :)

Ok so the parts all fit great, I am going to order everything tomorrow (Wednesday) at around 7pm eastern, just to give you all a heads up. I have the following people who have expressed interest:

fishEH
ArmyRover
Durt D1ver
robert freye
Bannon88
Timmy!!!!!

So I will order enough parts to make rods for all of you. If you happen to back out I'm sure I can find someone else to buy the rods so I'm not too worried about it. If there is anyone else who wants one let me know before tomorrow at around 7pm eastern so I can order the parts. Since some people dont have a spare to send me up front and I just have one extra for core exchange it might take longer because I will have to wait for them to send me their core back before I can make the next rod so please be courteous to the rest and try to send me your core back in a timely manner :) Here is my info for Paypal payment, shipment, questions, etc.

When you send me your rod the $$ it will help me out if you include your discoweb username just so I don't get confused. Oh yeah, and if you just want the bare rod, no paint, no bushing its $100. Add $5 for paint, add another $5 for a new bushing. Let me know if you have any questions!

Sweet! Now I just have to dig out my parts truck so I can pull the rod. I'd take you up on your loaner rod but I don't want to create a long delay in getting mine back to you. I'm in though, for sure. Hopefully I can pull my rod this weekend.
