Does anyone know if a D2 rear door will fit a D1. Can the locking mechanisms be changed from one to the other? My rear Door is falling apart and the local yard is littered with D2s and I was thinking about picking one up if they will work.

there is a $700 d2 on cincinati craigslist. he wants 1k but will take 700. I looked at it yesterday but do not have the time to part it or fix it. It has a hole in the oil pan from a rod.
