I did the fronts, side lights, dash, and front flairs. door panels are next and then seats. So I will have everything that is nicer from the d2 but not the d2

Come on, the lights you really need to put in from a D2 are the ABS, HDC, and TC. Grrr.

They look cool. I guess my question is "why?" Is there an advantage to the location?

I have not seen many busted D1 or D2 tail lights.

No advantage, just looks.

fivespdisco, how did you do the box beam? Or better did you cut a lot out of it and has it had any negative affects?

it only took us about 1hr to do one side. it should take less on the other side since we know what and where to cut on the other side. we got deal on panel and tail lights at junk yard. 2 sets of panels for $150 with tail lights in it. I'm doing mine this weekend. he better not bail out when I do mine.

I changed mine to keep the water. Out of the lights

I notice I have lost the upper turn signal. did you put a resistor in to slow the signals? I am going to do this or cut the board and jump a wire to make one of the parking lights a turn.
