We all need to chip in and get Marc a super hero costume. He may already own the tights, so maybe we can get him a cape and a big letter "M" on the chest.

Be to my house by 4pm or meet us out there...I can give you GPS coords and directions.

I will need another truck or two that's winchless for ballast. If you have GOOD straps or heavy chain, bring them. Bring some long pants, a shovel, water, some food, etc...

Call or e-mail. 254-6648

Thanks!

Michael - wish there was a way I could help, but I am triple-tied tomorrow all day long. If the rig is still stuck Monday let me know and I will be there.

Curtis,

We could definitely use your truck, but I think we've got it covered if you can't come.

Any extra recovery equipment will be good. I have a ton, but we need to tie off trucks to other trucks, so good *non-kinetic* straps would help tie them together.

I also want to have another strap/winch coming off of the top of the box down to another truck so that the rig doesn't tip over when we get to the off-camber slope of the river side.

Thanks again...Marc it won't be the same w/out you.

Can I get those tights at Kirkham's?

Yep, we'll get out there about 6pm, starts to cool off right about 7-ish. I figure there's an hour of jockying trucks and me re-assembling the CC before we start the acutal 'work'.

I've got a bunch of guys and trucks going...I'm going to tow the Serious One out and use it's winch also. 4-winches, 4 big trucks, 4 as ballast and about 10 guys with shovels. Should be an interesting recovery.

Got lots of 'vittles and water for the crew this morning at Costco. Should keep 'em safe and hydrated. Thanks for the support/tips/dance pants link.

I'll report tonight!

Updates? They aren't still out there are they?

I guess this would be one of those situations where a land anchor would be useful?
Actually sand ladders would be more useful. Hard to tell for sure from the pic, but it looks like a few sets of those and no digging or winching would be needed at all.
