Watch out with those autopart store two pack indicator lamps. Did that to the RRC and after 3 minutes you could cook on it. The Rover ones are lower wattage.

BIG thanks to nosivad_bor for tipping me off to this post back by the camp fire in october. finaly got to it tonight. cdl is out on bench and i did not break anything that wasn't already broke. one question though. on the shaft just outside the body was the collar attached to the geared portion of the shaft. I loosened that small bolt to remove from shaft instead of the hard to reach pin and clip. did I just screw myself. im starting to think i should have gone for the pin and clip as there may be some amount of precision to the placement of collar on gear, and i did not note original placement. oh well to late now. ill be lubing things up tomorow and checking sensor. again thanks for the help

Also, when greasing inside the housing should i just lube up the moving parts or fill the the entire cavity, hope that didn't sound too dirty:D

Sorry no pics. i was told by my brilliant computer that my pictures had too many kb and did not conform to specs:banghead: that being said, the 19th post on this thread shows your picture of what i've been calling the collar. its the one with the one bolt with yellow paint flakes on it. after looking at the pic up close and the part in person i'm gona go with the collar should be flush with the housing. that's not where i found it but might explain the slack i was feeling in the stick prior to yesterday. anyways, im goin to bed for now, thanks in advance for any brutal honesty ya'll dish out

Went to Second Mountain on Sunday, everything worked great. indicator light, nuetral indicator beeping thing and the stick moved flawlessly. Can of PB blaster and some new screws along with your photo documentary fixed the whole problem. thanks again:D
