It seems most if not all are taking him at his word that he is honest and hard-working, certainly traits to be admired in this day and age. The issue seems to be whether or not one needs "precision" machined spring spacers for a premium price and, apparently, his marketing prowess.

I declarer that your comment about the stress cracks is COMLETELY FALSE AND MISSLEADING. You are clearly not and engineer nor do you have experience with the strength of materials. The chances of a stress crack propagating from a saw cut mark is damn near nothing, about the same odds of me hitting the lottery, unless of course you are not using quality aluminum. even then, with the design of the pearch on top i'd dare say you'd never know you cracked it. Shit a piece of wood under the spring would by all rights work for quite a while.

As for an engineer obviously youve never heard of 'shot peening' a con rod, should we take you at your word that you are an engineer?, painting a spacer will hide any crack that could occur at the mount hole's - due to the flexibility of the paint it would obscure this from visible view, agree or not its academic and my choice of how I get these made - what is the concern?, if you want to supply me or tender a production contract then by all means do it profesionally with your input, obviously you are just wanting to flame somebody that is trying to make a living.
