I had the very first LR3 Hannibal rack imported in the USA. At that time, the mounting hardware was literally outdoor gate hardware. It was good quality stainless steel hardware, but cumbersome to say the least to fit it to the rack. I no longer have my detailed install photos online, but the...
On the LR3Tips website, the Recommended Tires thread has some comments about these two tires:
- Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow
- Wintrac 4 Extreme
I have no experience with either, but you can read the discussion thread on that site, and also check out this link...
Lol, Tami, want to be my agent?
Coiler, that LR3 was mine. I no longer own it though. It has been sold to a gentleman up near SanFrancisco. However, I can probably answer any questions you might have
the 550w system in The HSE is quite good, but toucan get pretty close or even better with a new sub, better amps and proccessor. The biggest thing to consider inthe LR3 is HOW you will get your tunes. The factory AUX input is very bad. Plan on adding either OEM iPod kit or an aftermarket...
Received a bunch of PM's on this. I want to clarify my original post. I know of ONE bumper available that is at a special price, not a supply of them. There is now a waiting list behind Silver. I will post to the number 2, 3 and so forth as the deal works out.

NW
Don't waste good money on bad tires. If you buy another set of GoodForOneYear HP Wranglers, you are just burning your cash. Buy 5 decent tires instead. ANY tire you choose will be better than the origional rubber. Here is a list:

Here are the alignment specs and procedures for the LR3:

The truck needs to be connected to the dealers IDS computer to place the Electronic Air Suspension (EAS), into “tight tolerance” geometry setting mode. However, I don't know what exactly that does.
x2. The Nav isn't all that great, and for a third of the price, you can getter better, newer, faster from Garmin, Magallen, etc... I really like the cubby for holding stuff, and would not want the nav system taking up the room!
I get my LR3 aligned frequently, on average about on a quarterly basis. My Nitto's went 30,000 miles of rigorous abuse, and my Coopers now have 34,000 miles of similar use and are still going strong. If you are habitually buying GoodForOneYear Wrangler HP's that came stock, then you deserve...
Couple of newer (there you go JWest, I didn't say BETTER!) photos of the front bumper:

They are also working on a rear bumper. I linked to...
Just saw some interesting photos of a new RTE concept bumper for the LR3. Its for the rear bumper. Comes in two pieces, ships inexpensively, and can be man-handled/installed by one person. The prototype is a lot rough still, but it shows promise and is certainly an interesting concept. Per...
No, it's not my preference in style or function, but I see it as personal preference and don't feel the need to post anything negative about it just because it doesn't "do it' for me.
