LR3 Sound System Comparision

I'm considering a 2006 LR3 and there are many fully optioned SE's available. I know the HSE has the 550w Logic7 HK sound system in it. How does the 240w system in the SE compare. I'm currently running a 97 RR 4.0 and it has a great stock system. As I only really listen to tunes while driving, I want to make sure if I replace the 4.0 that the sound is just as good. 240 is fine, but does not have a lot of low end. Get the 550 if you can, but don't let that be the sole decider...

the 550w system in The HSE is quite good, but toucan get pretty close or even better with a new sub, better amps and proccessor. The biggest thing to consider inthe LR3 is HOW you will get your tunes. The factory AUX input is very bad. Plan on adding either OEM iPod kit or an aftermarket interface cable.

Something you might not have considered but should not discount is just how quiet the LR3 is on the road. It is a very comfortable and smooth vehicle.
