I call BS on the photo. The incident may have happened, but the man in the photo shows no signs of bruising.
My dad had a punctured lung once & his body filled with air. My wife had chest cavity surgery & they pumped her full of air. My dad had crackly skin like the story said, and they both had to fart (dad could belch) to help the air escape. But my dad & wife looked like they were hit by a bus--they had lots of bruising in the affected areas.
I say the photo was staged by the media after Mr. Truck Driver recovered.
Or the whole story is fake.
