Has anyone have experience with the Allmakes brand on front or rear upper control arms? If so, are they good quality product or POS? Plan to replace the rear upper control arms on our 2006 LR3 with 112K+ miles. We plan to keep this truck for a while. Thanks in advance.

So front lower arms, rear upper arms, anything else need replaced regularly?

We replaced the front control arms when the vehicle reached 111K miles, but we'd noticed it before. Now the rear upper control arms need attention. I believe some vehicle's control arms need replacement around 50K, but it all depends on the driver. This is a wife's car, so no need to replace it every 50K miles.

I don't know who actually makes the Allmakes arms, but I cheap-fucked out once on the arms for my LR3 and bought some from rock auto or whatever. The arms were fine. The bushings were total shit. I put them in with 65k on the truck and they were shot with 78k, so 13k miles. I had OEM bushings installed into the factory arms at that point and replaced the whole assembly again. Problem solved and the truck rides like it should have in the first place. Don't be penny wise and pound foolish - just buy the OEM shit the first time (or go poly if that's your thing).

Sounds like you purchased Allmakes arms from Rockauto.
