I'll buy myself a Yeti 50 or whatever and do an actual comparison. This should be good for another dozen pages on this thread. I've been looking for a place where I can literally fill the Yeti and my igloo with water and freeze them solid. Barring any structural issues from the water expanding as it solidifies, this could be very interesting.

Would that not cause a bunch of pressure to build up in the cooler? I know that probably wouldn't be an issue with a cheap cooler, but with a Pelican or Yeti you have a pretty tight seal.

I think the straps latching the Yeti would stretch and vent. Just hope it really is wildly stronger.

Most independent restaurants with a large freezer would accommodate you for the comparison, if only to get their name on the Internet again.

Those styrofoam coolers are a necessary evil if you are in need of an impromptu cooler but man, I hate those things. They just become campground trash from all the ignorant fucksticks.
