Yet another fuel pressure question....

OK, here we go again...

I have a power loss on the highway. I can get to 70 but it's takes a while..

No codes... 96 D1 5-speed (Another 96 5-speed).

Fuel pressure is 32 at the rail running and 39-41 with the regulator hose disconnected.

I hear it should be at 37 running at idle no load. AB says 32 is fine.

Who's right?

Can I drive with the vaccum hose disconnected and plugged up or will I stress the injectors/hose assemblies?

You may want to do a couple of more checks if you have a gauge available. I checked mine several times and I'd get readings between 20 and 30 psi at different times. I finally replaced it. Also you probably did this but did you check your fuel filter?

92 mobile 93 nothing matters. Low power.

Can I run with the vacuum regulator hose disconnected and plugged up or with the rail pressure be too great?
