Windsheld wiper broken?

I was driving on the freeway this morning and it was very gusty. I turned on the wipers and a gust of wind pushed the driver's side wiper to the opposite side-below the driver's side rearview mirror. I pushed it back to it's normal position, but now it does not work. The passengers' side works fine.
Has anyone had this happen? Anyway to fix this. I think the motor still works b/c it seems to nudge a bit when turned on.
Thanks for any help.

I had an old Volvo that did that too. After looking at my DI. the cap at the bottom of the wiper pops off. Turn the wipers to off, then reposition the wiper in the correct starting position, and tighten the nut. Its easy. Then all should be fine. I beleive these are not splined, therefore the problem happens when they get lose. Usually was a problem for me back east when the wipers were stuck to the windsheild with ice, they would then come lose.

Thanks for the advice. I looked at it a bit closer and the arm is loose. I will try and tighten the nut and see what happens.
Thanks again!! :D
