wierd injury...?

That looks pretty bad! Go see a doc! I made one misdiagnosis with one of my Marines, during martial arts training and felt like a jackass. This was my first and last mistake. The Marine was flipped onto the ground but land on his ankle wrong. I was initally called to take a look and told the Marine to suck it up and that it was more than likely a sprain. He stated it hurted to walk on it, so I splinted his ankle up and sent him on crutches to the ER. The next day, the Marine came into my office and told me that his tibula was fractured! Man did I feel like a jerk!
So, long story short, there is no way to tell without a x-ray and maybe a MRI. You obviously did something bad enough for your body to react the way it did. If the swelling persists the worst case scenario is that you could develop a neuro, circulation, and toxicity problem very soon. Go get seen ASAP!
