Discoweb has been a great asset for me so I figured i'd give back where I can. In this case, it's a hot tip for a sick engine you don't see very often.
I found an RPI 4.6L in the Anaheim, CA PYP. It's sitting in an old ROXS Disco 1, which belonged to Tony V Sawyer (anyone know him? He was on here a long time ago).
Now, before you get too excited:
There was also a DVD copy of "Off-Road Driving and Winching Techniques with David Bowyer / Goodwinch" in the truck, which I snagged. Here is a digital copy for you fanatics.
I've already tipped off @special ed so he can slam this thing into his KOH build. I also teased @lunchbox with the info, but unless he figures out a way to get his ass out to the west coast, one of you here will probably get to it first.
As much as I would love to throw this into my vehicle, I don't have the time, the space, or the know how to overhaul this thing. I hope one of you here can get it running again.

Now, before you get too excited:
- It looks like it has been sitting for maybe 18+ years. Last registration on the truck is 2005.
- Most of the ancillaries had been taken prior to reaching the yard (based on early photos posted by PYP)
- The block / heads are still there (see photo below)
- Based on what I can tell, the oil was clean and there weren't any clear signs of major failure
- It has a performance cam in it and apparently its putting out more than 250hp+ (so says the writing on the intake)
