Get yourself a PC104-formfactor PC with 12VDC power supply, hook up GPS, that touchscreen, and make it your trip computer's interface. MP3/video playing capability comes as a bonus.

Can i have it? It looks like something that would be fun to play with. I would pay shipping and send you a good bottle of bourbon.

I work with this stuff all day long. That's a good find you got there.

You should mount that in your vehicle and connect it with the Pro-Guard XF-3750-VB12-22 module. If you can't locate one of those (usually available on ebay) then try to find a Xanther Model SY12 Series 44D-15.5-K9.

That would be a way cool setup in your Disco.

If that's a genuine GP2600 and it's in really good shape you can easily get $2,000 for it. Can you post some pics, I might be interested in picking another one up.

Blue, What the hell do you use it for?

I've got 17 computers running simultaneously in the house and another 6 in my office across town. I have them all linked and ported with my online businesses, custom statistical inventory control software, and various live inport/export update programs. I'm working on linking with a live always-on system in my vehicle that can teleport information and updates seamlessly. I already have a heads-up display put together and something like this GP2600 would save me the hassle of piecing together a custom module. It's way overkill for this particular application but I'd probably spend $4K in time & materials doing it on my own.
