it will get up to 75 here this week. or for us, down to 75.

my friend made one roof tent by himself. he made it from sheet metal. it took three weeks, lot of nerves and only material cost half price of new Columbus tent. if he count his work, he was on the price of new tent. where everything goes right...

I think I'd of put the platform on the load bars and simply swung the Thule container out of the way when sleep was required...

Hate to think of your gas mileage or wind noise...

But hey it serves your purpose and you built it yourself..so good on you

i have been thinking of that swing the thule out of the way thought. you have the makings of an interesting idea there....
