whats the difference between MFUs

I got my mf u out and it an AMR 5360. I have an AMR 1280 I was going to try in my disco. Supposedly the 1280 came out of a 97. anyone know what the different MFUs are about? I haven't tried the MFU test because I dont want to fire up my disco inside my shop and its not yet ready to go outside. I'll no doubt try the test asap....

latching fog light switch is the only functional difference I can remember.

The fuse blocks are different and that makes the mfu not interchangeable
