Norway, $9.48/gallon (putting 20 gallons in your Rover will cost you $190)
Turkey, $9.37/gallon
Netherlands, $8.61/gallon
$4.40 is a bargain.
But if $4.40 is still too expensive for you, consider moving to one of these countries where gas is much cheaper than in the US:
Venezuela: less than $0.40/gallon
Iran: less than $0.50/gallon
Saudi Arabia: $0.51/gallon
According to this travel website, there are only 18 countries with cheaper gas than the US. You'll need to do the conversions, though. 1 gallon = 3.78 liters, 1 Euro = $1.28.
Yea ,i get, but but to jump .50 cents over night, holidays here and also summer, sound like gouging to me , sure I'd understand the prices elsewhere ,but does it flucuate like the temperature!Tugela said:Anyone in this country who complains about gas prices needs some perspective. Perhaps Mike was refering to the federal fuel tax.apg said:Cite your source on this, especially since the former Mineral Management Service of the Department of the Interior was selling off oil and gas leases on public lands for pennies on the dollar. Monies paid for mineral extraction are the second largest source of revenue for the federal government, after income taxes.
