What Oil do you recommend?

If it says Energy conserving on the donut, it's too light for flat tappet engines, most Mobil 5w30 products. Stick with any 0w40, 5W40 or 15 w40 and you should be fine. The diesel rated oils have better additive packages.

Better than some oils, yes. Better than all non-diesel oils. No.

Oh Heavens!

Use a oil that has a HSTS rating of at least 3.5

This includes SAE 15w-40 and oils rated ACEA a3/b3.


I wont go into why again....The first 50 wore me out. :)
