I'm glad this came up. I have been thinking about getting a Camel for a while now. I probably can't afford a 2 hump camel but I think the single hump Camel may be in my price range. Keep in mind I don't want to race it or abuse it offroad. I just need a Camel to show off to my buddies and eat some weeds. My weedeater broke down and a goat seems to be pretty spendy.

How much would a single hump Camel cost?

Would it keep dogs and vermin out of the yard?

Do they eat weeds like a goat?

Yes, as the all paid to have their car on there. I think its something stupid high like 50 bucks for an add tens of people will see. It's kind of a shame, I used to go on there a lot but the got some new moderator named clevelandsteamer or something who wanted you to buy banner adds or you couldn't offer anything for sale.

100k in 1979 was a lot of money.

Wasn't Land Rover suppose to make a higher priced RR to compete with Rolls, Bentley and Maybach?

I am convinced there is no quantity of cash that a Range Rover cannot consume and still add nothing to its resale value.

For sale: 1988 RR, all body panels solid gold, transmission remanufactured out of titanium with saphire crystal windscreen and its own satellite for real time nav and commo. Comes with roof rack and Hannibal tent. Price: $5,000
