Great photos Jack. Nice to talk to you a little bit more this URE. My crew had a blast this year. ONSLRS really is an outstanding group, both newbies and oldies.

He was exploring the limits of the turning circle of a 110 on his way up a hill on the Daniel trail - there was a big rock off his left front corner (RHD truck) that he was afraid he was going to hit so he backed up to adjust his line. When he did he was across the trail on a sidehill and then the left rear tire climbed up over a rock and the right rear tire dropped into a hole. It got sort of tippy at that point and going either forward or backward was not going to end well. We tied a winch off to the upper corner of the new roll cage from a D-90 that was perpindicular to the line of travel and used the winch on the front of the 110 to ease it forward.

He was probably at 35 degrees of tilt and wasn't very comfortable in the truck before we jumped on the rock sliders and got the wife and kids out. It all worked out and no damage was done.

well hopefully he was drinking because it appears to be the equivalent of getting high centered at the mall parking lot.

What the camera doesn't show (since we bipeds tend to hold the camera parallel to the ground we're standing on) is that he was on a pretty good hill - tilt this picture counterclockwise about five degrees.... Ross (on the right) is not leaning backwards in reality and we're standing on the rock sliders reducing the tilt of the 110 at this point.

Yeah - he kept backing up even after I hollered at him to stop - with the RHD truck he couldn't see that his left rear wheel was climbing the bank behind him. He was backing up to maneuver around the big boulder in the above picture.

He apparently doesn't have as much experience as we thought he did (he was doing really well up to this point) and he got a bit flustered when things started to go sideways. There were multiple ways to go up this hill and we were zig-zagging up it to use the easier line and avoid some of the bigger rocks. He just fell afoul of the turning circle limitattions

passed that truck several times over the weekend coming in and out of the group camp.

The blonde lady in the passenger seat always looked thoroughly unimpressed with the happenings of the day.
