Hey All
Yes i know everyone gets it.Kinda like chicken pocks.
Its dripping on to trany coolant lines and drying ,drivers side.
never hits the ground.
Noticed it while diagnosing starter removal headache.

How long can i get away with it
Will it just let go
Will it let go inside cyl or outside.

Id like to make it to January.

Hope all in the community are well

Thanks
Jim

and now your motor is gone.

Better start saving for a new one.

Don't put that in a rover engine. Ever.

Fix the truck, don't band-aid it!

Radiator stop-leaks are for those who don't realize the damage that has been done and that they are merely masking the effects and asking for trouble.

the product I was talking about was the a head gasket fix. If it's a minor leak (a couple of drops every day) then what damage can a stop leak do?

I drove mine for the past two years with a leaky valley and leaky headgaskets. Roughly 30k miles. Just keep an eye on the level and keep it topped off.

Don't listen to the rookie. Bars Leaks clogs heater cores and ruins radiators!!!!!

Thanks for the feedback. I talked to a friend of mine today. Decided to leave it alone till i have some time in december and rebuild the motor, and port and polish the heads and intake manifold while we're at it. Cam and headers are not out of the question either...

Letting coolant leak into the oil causes serious engine wear....
