There is no way they quoted you nearly $800 for tires, of course if you are ordering 6 or 7 tires, I'll believe it. They're listing the most expensive tire at $185, and it isn't available until August, and it's a 37".

I know two guys that are running them, neither have had any problems. And yes, one of them drove 1100 miles to Moab, wheeled hard, and then drove back home 1100 miles. No problems with the Tread Wrights. His driver side CV however, is a different story:)

You know a lot of tractor trailer tires are retreads? They haul a lot more than 6klbs too, and create a lot more heat then wheeling a 6klb truck at 4mph.

Tractors have blowouts whether brand new tires, or retreads. It luck of the draw with tires, distance, haul weight, etc.

Well, from the utter carnage of blown-out truck tires on the road, which I and everyone else has to dodge constantly, the vast majority of which are retreads, I'll wager, I personally would rather pass.

I just got five 265/75-16 Warden's (E sidewall BFGs) with their Kedge Grip (walnuts and glass. for ice/snow grip). That Kedge feature is what sold me....A/T ice tires I can use all year!

Amazing tires. In rain on day one, great grip. They weigh about 5 pounds more per tire than a new tire. I got E type (stiff) and handling is superb. They look and feel just like a regular tire. At speed, no vibrations (up to 75mph). Braking is fine. They balanced right up.

Great service too. The truck looks happy now. ;) These make me finally not miss my LWB. About 600 shipped total. Kedged..... BFG tires shipped without the ice-grip (walnuts and glass) feature would have been about 900 to my door.

Highly recommended.

i have the guard dogs in 265/75/16 on BFG bases. they are fantastic so far. they were cheaper with shipping than buying the cheapest NEW M/T tire i could find anywhere else locally. i am very happy with them on and off road.

Same experience as all the others on here who actually have had them-vice the color commentary-I've had the m/t style on my truck for ~15k miles, a great deal of which was offroad and getting the ever living sh*t thrashed out of them and they've done exceptionally well. I'd upload pics but the bandwidth out here sucks so that isn't going to happen, but they look like m/t's on a D1 in 235/85/16 w/black steel wheels...

I doubt you will regret the purchase.
