Another thing that is considered a piece of shit by our friend Mr. Chapman. Firestone Destination M/Ts are shit. right?

We all heard that the lugs rip off. This is nothing new. But unless the tire is made for rocks, i.e. krawlers/iroks. Then lugs are going to rip off no matter what M/T tire your running. A sharp rock can cut any if not all lugs. agreed?

So anyone want to chime in on the latest news of what is shitty today by Chapman?

Wow... I had forgotten how stupid that site is. Not going to go into the tires but I am curious about the bumper. I have looked at them on many occasions and don't understand the lack of side protection. They would be fine on a defender or a disco with huge tires, but on the more common disco there is too much fender to hit. Secondly, I am very unsure about this, but I thought the bumpers that have the smaller hoop on the top are the fake Equipe's that were copied by Scorpion racing and sold for half the price... I know for a fact, that is not the bumper that was on display at the Equipe table at MAR. It had a top hoop that was twice that size.

I really don't know about the lack of side protection but I'm not one to talk my bumper is something hideous that I fabbed up myself and is still missing the side protection that I would like to have. I admit freely that I'm not really any good at fab work. It'll improve as my skills come along.......

Honestly I'm sure Justin knows what Dan thinks of the bumper as I'm sure it has been discussed at length on here before. I'm also sure that no one is ever in doubt as to Dan's thoughts on a subject.

If I were you though Jupiter and I was happy with my truck I don't know why you would give a fuck what he thinks.

I know Dan would rip my rig apart. Especially since I generally buy used parts and clean them up for reuse on my truck. The Army doesn't pay that well lol.

In the end he's as entitled to his opinion just as much as you are.

I just wanted to see the responses. I really don't care what he thinks. I just thought everything he had to say was really funny. He reminds me of that bully in grade school, ya know. The one you hit in the face once and he shuts the hell up. Too bad my arm doesn't stretch that far. haha.

That link that was posted is somewhat entertaining and those equipe vids are pretty cool.

My disco looks good to me and rides even better. What more could I ask?! :cool:
