Has anyone found replacement bulbs for switchs on a 96 discovery. (ie rear fog switch, radio control switchs, etc). They are very small, and green color.

You can also use Radio Shack part number 272-1092 mini 12 volt bulbs, $2.49 for a pack of two is what I paid last week. You have to pull the old bulb out of the plastic holder and reuse the holder as well as the colored cap. The bulbs are not colored, they have colored caps on them that you can carefully slide off and put on a new bulb. The wires just wrap around the holders, no soldering required. I just did this with maybe 12 of them, a lot were burned out on my disco.

The ones I see on the Rovers North site, RNE752, are $3.59 each. So the Radio Shack route is quite a bit cheaper if you have several to replace.

Are they easy to pop off? Do I have to take the dash board off?

the switch pulls straight out. The bulb twists out with a small screwdriver.

I went to Radio Shack and it doesn't like the part. I want the green houseing with the bulb, right? Not just a bulb with the wire. I gave the clerk the item code and that's what I got.

Radio Shack only sells the tiny bulb with wires. Use a pin or something to unwrap the wires from the plastic housing and pull the bulb out. The green cover should slip off the old bulb and on to the new one. Feed the wires of the new bulb through the housing, wrap them like the old ones and it should work.
