Steering wheel jerk

1999 disco 1. Every time I presss my brakes the steering wheel jerks to the left. It is only right away and as I continue braking the steering doesn't seem affected at all. I have recently put a 3" lift on it but I haven't changed anything else. No radius arms or shafts so I thought that could be a problem because it does feel a little loose while driving, especially at higher speeds. Any suggestions? Thanks

Possible wheel bearing on one side, pushing the pads out more on that side.

Did you get everything tight when you put the lift on?

Thanks guys. Ya I tighted everything down pretty good but I can definitely go around again. I just had the cv joints and wheels re packed as well. New front brakes too.

D1 doesn't have rear radius arms.

I had the exact same issue years ago. I did all the usual stuff: bushings, bearings, tie-rods, etc... It ended up being my steering box. Start cheap and go from there. Bushings, bearings, swivel pins, stabilizer, brakes, etc

D1 doesn't have rear radius arms.

The semantical distinction between the term "radius arms" and other arms seems to be on the hair-splitting side of this topic.
