Staun Bead locks

Ok for the real wheelers that come here. Have any of you guys looked at the staun
bead looks? i want to keep my rover wheels and be legal going down the road.
I just looking now, but I may get some this year when get my next set of tires.

4 Wheel parts wants $170 a rim, but you can go in talk that prices down and i get
club discounts.

I don't think you need them with stock rover rims, they should be good for steel rims though. Regarding legality, like who's going to take a tire off a wheel to check?

ok, sorry for the stoopid question....but what the hell are bead locks anyway? furthermore....what are fake beadlocks?

Bead Locks will hold your tire to the rim when you run extremely low pressures off-road. Staun makes internal ones that apply pressure to the tire bead to keep it seated. Or, you can get bead lock rims, with a bolt on ring that sandwiches the bead to the rim so it doesn't come off. The external ones have bolts you can see. The fake ones have fake bolts so they look like you have bead locks but in reality they're just regular rims. I guess for people who want to look like off-roaders when they go to the mall.
