In Portland Daniel Shaull decided to protest a fur store.
His first mistake was dousing himself with gasoline, then setting it on fire and trying to run into the a fur store.
His second mistake was he forgot to check to see if the door was unlocked before setting himself on fire.

Unfortunately for him a police officer was driving by at about the same time and proceeded to try and put him out by emptying a riot size canister of pepperspray.
His last mistake was running away from the guy with the real fire extinguisher after his last "savior" just maced his ass.

 that's a double fail.
The pepper spray was water-based, not oil-based, and nonflammable. Kim Kosmas of the Fire Bureau said the spray "didn't have any additional reaction with him already being on fire."

Except the burning sensation from pepper spray on raw skin.

The man who set himself afire, 26-year-old Daniel Shaull of Dodge City, Kan., died at a hospital later Wednesday. His father, Warren, said his son had psychiatric problems...

Ya think??

What is all the fuss about. Can you think of any other use for a mink?

I do feel sorry for his parents. No one deserves that to be the fate of there kid.

Portland my old home town. It used to be a nice place. Than the hippsters found out about it. Elected a gay mayor and let the bikes take over. Even in a downturn economy the city is willing to pay for a pro soccer team and have enough coin to propose 60 million dollars worth of bike trails around the city.
