Seat switch mounting (d1)

I searched and couldn't find anything related to my question.

My seat switches have come loose in my console,,,, again. The seat switch mounting plate has 4 little tabs that hold it into the console and they have sheered off and now anytime that I hit a bump on the road they dang switches fall out of the console.

I don't really want to buy new switch mounting plates, so I am curious if anyone has done anything to repair them with a good solid mount or am I just stuck buying new flimsy seat switch plates

So I spent some time tonight coming up with a solution. I used two old work electrical boxes for the screws and locking tabs.

love it, and the parts are lying around the shop! doing this ASAP to my recently acquired 99 D1.
