I believe Mantec is the only company that makes them. I don't recall his name but there is someone on here who imports them and sells them for about 375-400.

But if he used PVC it would outlast the rest of the truck.

You can also buy just the Mantec snorkel top like I did for around $55 if you have access to a 3" pipe bender and make the rest yourself. I think I got just the top from RN.

Get the one DAP sells, the Les Richmond (formerly Rangie Spares) out of Australia. Best looking one there is for the RRC I think.

Dude you should have posted a pic of your RRC. It's pretty sweet. The only thing I don't like about that snorkel is that fact that it's fiberglass. It does look good.

I'd get the mantec if it was me. Best looking snorkel made for a D1 or a RRC and its metal. I had one on my RRC. I made my own for the series truck with 2nd pieces from Dave at Southdown. He lists them on ebay.uk at times and is an awesome dude to deal with. Gordo

Sorry for the delay. Busy weekend, the wife's cat died.

I don't have it up on my truck yet. I have the Mantec top in hand and have the 3" pipe I bought from a muffler shop. I had them lightly (very lightly) flare the top to fit it to the snorkel top. I just haven't bent the pipe yet or cut the hole in the cowel to hook it up. What I have planned to do looks just like the full $400 set up from Mantec. The 3" tube was $15 at the local muffler place. I plan to weld a couple 4" pieces of L stock perpendicularly to the tube, pre-drill some holes and screw the brackets to the A pillar. I am also planning to fab up a wide funnel to attach to the side of the air filter cylinder rather than use the whole loopy dryer hose junk they supply with the kit.

Retrov, after you get your setup finished would you mind if I come and have a look. I also live in Fort Worth.

Shoot yeah. I hope to have time in the next couple weeks to get to this project. Between a house, a Jaguar, and a Rover, my 'fun project' time is short. Where are you in FW? I haven't seen your truck around that I know of. I'm in Oakhurst near downtown. We need to meet up, I've had a couple other people in the area contact me about getting together.

If you or RETROV are ever in Rahr & Sons Brewing, stop in and tell Fritz, John Gadd says hello. He's a frat bro' of mine from TCU.

You know why they call it Rahr, because that's the noise you make over the toilet after getting drunk on their shit. Really though, it is good beer for beer fans out there.

When did you graduate from TCU? Some of my buddies are Horney Fags (even the best man in my wedding come to think of it). Damn, what does that make me? I grew up on Bellaire Dr S in front of what is now the baseball stadium so I am all too familiar with that damn school.
