Hate to say it but this little back door affair started a long time ago. Volvo was sold to a company in China. We already bought all our Evoque and LR2 drivetrain components. Not sure but I believe they bought them assembled engine and trans on a front cradle. Land Rover sold the rights to the last pushrod engine as soon as it came out of production. So if you bought a 04 Disco They already didn't own the rights to the engine. How to destroy a car manufacturer 101.
