Did you call him?

I doubt he wants to say anything to anyone.

I just want to see how he is doing.
I'm keeping my head down as I go through this. Thanks for your thoughts and thanks to the dweeb community for keeping it kind.

Speak of the devil! Keeping your head down and watching your back seems wise. On a happier note when I explained to my dear wife your recent misfortune and showed her a picture of you she remembers you as "the guy with the salt and pepper hair and the nice watch from Conclave."

And what's this Import Safety Commercial Targeting and Analysis Center costing the taxpayers?

Less government is better government.

Pretty straight up article.

Yup...

CBP officers tend to take a pretty holistic view on vehicle inspection, meaning that they?re not satisfied merely by a 25-year-old VIN. If vehicle components overall look too new, they?ll reach out not only to NHTSA but even to Land Rover itself?which, officials say, has been helpful to a nearly unprecedented degree.

Anyone willing to wager that the impetus for this 'crackdown' is Land Rover corporate itself? Consider the on-going legal campaign against any entity that has "LR" in their name....

That's funny, my wife remembers him as "that asshole with the salt and pepper hair and the nice watch from Wilmington." :D

Usually they are the 3 or 4th Rover after the Rangies

More likely 3rd or 4th after a bevy of Escalades, Navigators and H2's. I'd bet there are a good number of H1's among the prepper faction of the Tea Party. You know, the ones buying land up in Idaho in that libertarian utopia called The Citadel. I read that it's affectionately called Galt's Gulch.
