Alex,
it's too late for Chapman - he's into his 3rd round of Maker's Mark or doing somebody's mom. So...

- round cylinders have no place on a Disco. It'll look like shit.

Well, it is big.

Don't think we used something that big to turn 52's on 2.5T rockwells.

I don't know, it might work. Where will it mount? I know Rovertym had a hard time designing theirs so it did not get fucked from hitting shit.

exactly. keith redrilled the swivels for 20 degrees of caster. to rotate the steering arms up and out of the way... still, the tie rods will see a good bit of downward angle from the ram, which is why its so overbuilt.

on the front axle. that all you got? I'm disappointed.

This is not a bolt on product for the Rover. This is well over the top of 99% of the Rover crowd. I mean, it's nothing new or anything, but the people who will use hydro are going to be the ones like you - you're not doing it because it looks good or because of its full range of functionality. You're doing it because it takes some power to twist the tires you have when they're pinned into rocks.

I still drive my truck on the street, so I would only go with hydro assist. Your truck is not going to see the street, at least not at speed and in traffic. So full hydro is good for you. But for the guy with a 3" lift and 265/75's, it would be ridicules. Kind of like the guy who buys a tube bumper because it's "light" and has "good clearance" for his D2 with 2-inches of lift and street radials.................

Alex, FWIW.

If you use RHD right knuckle and stock drag link arms on the knuckles, you'll run into a BAD case of reverse Ackerman angle. Really bad.
To keep it right, you'll have to forgo stock reamed holes for steering joints, and mount the drag link(s) much closer to the knuckle.

I'm aware of the ackerman angle being way way off. Hopefully it won't affect the crawling performance, which is all i'm really concerned about.
