Remote Oil Filter

Has anybody tried one? The filter is going to be real close to the suspension link on my buggy and I was thinking about trying one of these.

I've never known those to be used for a remote oil filter. I've used it before to install a auxlliary oil cooler.

steve, we put an amsoil remote 5micron filter (IIRC) on Jakes black disco years ago. he never had any issues with it. the mount was similar to what you have pictured.

Cool so there is something out there. I wish they showed a picture of the bottom of that thing. It sounds like it's just a sandwich between the filter and the block like mike says.

I have one. Bolts to a piece of steel welded to the brake tower and incorporates an oil cooler. Just have NAPA make up some lines and put it where it is easy to swap filters.
