Just go with the heavy duty springs and all will be well.

this is what i have sitting in my garage when mine goes, have to get all the value out of my sls considering paid heaps for spacers. hope this helps.

2xspring seats part no.(ANR3578)
2x 3" coil springs (or std height if you're keeping front std)
4x m10 1.5" nuts,bolts washers
2x spring isolators not necessary but need to match front (ANR2938)

*p.s not jumping on the sls sucks-coils rule bandwagon,it's your choice*

hi!

is it straith forward jobb to change air bags to coils?

can i just remove the censors on radiusarms?

compressor is no problem, just the testbook and problem is gone-can i use that compressor to "on board air"? :) anyone knows how much it gives or is it too weak for the jobb?

anything else to thinkabout?

thankfull for any advice!

ok!

it said BANG on saturday eve (yes i WAS sober!) and left rear airbag was empty. 30 mile run home on shocks. :(

next morning i removed wheel and removed thet "broken "spring! And there was nothing wrong with the airbag, i filler her up with air in a water bucket, no leaks what so ever. back with the bag and started her up-and look now problem!

That was back in December, weeks after same thing keeps happening once a week. cure....park you car, take out the ignition key, put it back , wait the pring to fill, keep on driving!

so i realy dont know whats wrong! Compressor is OK, spring is OK, airfilter to compressor is OK, airlines are OK, there is realy few things that can go wrong: air valves in the compressorbox, ECU (SLABS or what ever) or ridehight sensor failure!

nearest testbook is 500 miles away, oneway! :( so....!

I did order 2 new bag from Arnott in Florida, bags are here but im looking forward to convert to coils....!

Disco NEVER loose any air whan standing still on the driveway!

i didnt smoke, drink or take any drugs...! :)

that a long story short!

I bet it is the airbag, specifically one bead where the bead of the bag meets the top or bottom. So if you hit a bump just right that unseats and blows all the air out, but its close enough so that it will more or less hold air the next time.

*bump*

I am with you there. I have SLS on my Citroen (hydraulic of course) and have come to appreciate it. So much so that I am considering installing air shocks, a compressor and an SLS height corrector (valve) on my D1.
