under the truck with a compressed bottle?

what do you think the temperature under your disco gets up to while stopped on a black asphalt road in stop and go traffic on a sunny 90* day?
MM

When I'm wheeling and I want to get out of the heat I have often crawled under my disco to get out of the sun, sometimes even going so far as to take a nap (getting old :( ). It has always been cooler under there than out in the sun or in the cab (assuming the exhaust isn't still warm). I don't know what it would be like while driving in traffic but I can speak to the shade factor when it's standing still. :)

There are lots of cool places under there to mount stuff (if you provide an appropriate level of protection from rocks). IMHO

I too have an air tank reservoir from a Range Rover mounted to the frame on the driver's side. I haven't done this yet, but the idea is to mount a compressor in the engine bay and run the line back to the tank. It should work fine.

When I removed my EAS, I left the air tank in place. Mounted a QuickAir 3 in the rear and plumbed it to the EAS tank. Holds about 75PSI and the automatic pressure valve on the QuickAir maintains constant pressure. Then, I installed a T fitting and have a pressure guage and a quick disconnect where the return line from the tank terminates in the rear. Works excellent, and I never run out of air.
